Tasnim Zara secures NCP nomination for Dhaka-9
Bangla Press Desk: Dr Tasnim Zara, senior joint secretary of the National Citizen Party (NCP), has bought a nomination paper to contest the Dhaka-9 constituency in the upcoming 13th national parliamentary election slated for February next year.
She collected the nomination paper from the party’s temporary office in Banglamotor of the capital Dhaka around 10 PM on Monday (10 November).
The Dhaka-9 parliamentary seat encompasses the areas of Sabujbagh, Khilgaon, Mugda, and Manda police stations.
While the BNP has announced candidates for most Dhaka constituencies, it has left this seat vacant. It is not yet clear whether the vacancy is intended for NCP leader Tasnim Zara.
The NCP is selling party nomination papers for the 13th national parliamentary election at its temporary central office in Banglamotor. Interested candidates can purchase the papers until 13 November.
