Tawsif, Keya Payel and Malaika Set for First Joint Appearance
Bangla Press Desk: Popular actors Tawsif Mahbub, Keya Payel and Malaika Chowdhury have teamed up for Capital Drama’s upcoming production, “Amar Rajya Tumi”, a relationship-driven story exploring love, fate and the emotional complexities of human connections.
The drama brings together Tawsif and Keya Payel once again after several successful collaborations. It also marks Tawsif Mahbub’s first on-screen pairing with Malaika Chowdhury, a fresh combination that has already generated curiosity among viewers.
In the drama, Tawsif plays Siam, Keya Payel stars as Naboni, and Malaika Chowdhury portrays Brishty. With its emotional narrative and a mix of familiar and new on-screen chemistry, Amar Rajya Tumi is expected to draw the attention of the audience upon its release.
About the project, Tawsif said, “This is not just a romantic story; it is a story about relationships. It offers a different perspective from conventional narratives. I have worked with Keya Payel in several dramas before, but this is my first project with Malaika Chowdhury. I truly enjoyed the experience and hope the audience will appreciate our work.”
Directed by Masrikul Alam, “Amar Rajya Tumi” delves into the emotional aftermath of relationships rather than focusing solely on romance.
“I wanted the audience to experience not only a relationship but also what happens within people after it changes or ends. I hope the characters stay with viewers long after the drama is over”, the director said.
According to Masrikul Alam, the story follows people who love each other deeply but are ultimately separated by time, fate and misguided decisions. The narrative highlights the emotional weight of relationships and the lasting impact they leave on people's lives.
Presented by Bashundhara Cement, the drama will be released on Capital Drama’s YouTube channel soon.
