Bangla Press Desk: A teacher of Uttara’s Milestone School and College who sustained burn injuries during the recent plane crash died while undergoing treatment at the Burn Institute at around 12:45 pm on Thursday.
The victim, Mahfuza, 45, died after battling for her life for 25 days since the jet crash.
Confirming the news, Dr Shawon Bin Rahman, residential surgeon of the Burn Institute, said that 25 percent of Mahfuza’s body had been burned.
Currently, 23 patients injured in the crash remain under treatment at the institute. With Mahfuza’s death, the number of fatalities at the Burn Institute has risen to 19.
