Thailand, Bangladesh discuss trade, new shipping route

Bangla Press Desk: Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Ambassador of Thailand to Bangladesh, paid a courtesy call on Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin on Sunday.
During the meeting, both sides expressed their shared goals to advance bilateral trade in terms of volume and diversification.
They also highlighted the potential of the new shipping route between Ranong and Chittagong Port to facilitate trade and mutual prosperity.
The future establishment of a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) was discussed as a key agenda, with both sides expressing their intention to engage in detailed consultations at the earliest opportunity.
