Bangla Press Desk: Emilia Clarke has revealed some shocking information about her experience filming the new series ‘Ponies’ on the streaming platform Peacock. The four-time Emmy-nominated actress revealed that she broke a rib while filming an intimate scene.
In an interview with The Wrap, Emilia said that the most physically demanding part of playing Bea in the series was the intimate scenes. In the series, which is set during the Cold War, Bea is a woman who seduces several high-ranking KGB officers in order to obtain information. That is why she had to act in intimate scenes with her co-stars.
According to Emilia, ‘I was shooting a long intimate scene. That day, I broke a rib.’
Co-star Haley Lou Richardson, who plays another CIA agent ‘Twila’ in the series, confirmed the matter and said, ‘Her rib was really broken. Emilia is sensitive—that's why it happened.'
Emilia said that the doctor had to tell her that the injury occurred while shooting an intimate scene. Later, Emilia said that her rib was not completely broken, but slightly displaced.
