There will be 4 police stations, 6 investigation centers in Purbachal: IGP
Bangla Press Desk: The Purbachal New City Project will have 4 police stations and 6 investigation centers, said Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md. Ali Hossain Fakir.
He gave this information while inaugurating the 'Barkau Police Camp' in the Purbachal New City Project area on Wednesday (July 1) morning.
The IGP said that the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) is working to establish 4 police stations, 6 investigation centers, 2 police lines, 3 DC offices and 41 police boxes to strengthen law and order in Purbachal. Already, the registration of 18.63 acres of land allocated for the police has been completed.
He said that in the future, there are plans to bring Purbachal under the DMP and form a separate division under the leadership of an additional police commissioner and create about 6,524 manpower.
