Tuku Pays Tribute to Late Content Creator Kabir Hossain
Bangla Press Desk: State Minister for the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salauddin Tuku has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the passing of Kabir Hossain, a well-known farmer and social media content creator from Tangail.
Kabir, a resident of Tartia village in the Gharinda union of Tangail Sadar upazila, passed away tonight following a cardiac arrest, said a press release.
He recently gained nationwide recognition after receiving a “Farmer Card” directly from the prime minister. Following a subsequent administrative inquiry, his status as an authentic marginal farmer was officially verified and recognised.
Kabir had also built a significant following on social media, where he highlighted the lives, struggles, and potential of Bangladeshi farmers.In a condolence message, Tuku described Kabir as a hardworking and self-respecting farmer.
"Kabir Hossain played a vital role in presenting the realities of farming to the public and projecting agriculture as a dignified profession to the new generation. In his demise, the nation has lost a dedicated farmer and a familiar voice," the state minister said.
The state minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members, relatives, friends, and well-wishers.
