Bangla Press Desk: Leaders and activists of the Jatiya Party (JaPa) and Gono Odhikar Parishad clashed in Dhaka’s Kakrail area on Friday evening, leaving several people, including Nurul Haque Nur, severely injured.
Nur was rescued by his fellow workers and rushed to a hospital as his condition deteriorated.
The incident took place in front of the JaPa central office.
Citing allegations from both sides, Police said Gono Odhikar Parishad activists brought out a procession and attacked the JaPa office, while Gono Odhikar Parishad claimed it was JaPa men who hurled bricks at them as they were passing by.
