'Women are always criticized' — Mrunal stands by Katrina and Kriti.

Bangla Press Desk:Bollywood actresses Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon have recently faced intense trolling on social media. Actress Mrunal Thakur has now come out in their support, stating that one should not comment on their personal choices while ignoring their contributions to the film industry.
Mrunal is currently busy promoting her new film, *Pooja Meri Jaan*. She was recently asked about the public criticism regarding women's clothing and physical appearance. In response, the actress stated that everyone has the right to enjoy their life on their own terms and that personal decisions should be respected.
Speaking to the news agency PTI, Mrunal said, "It is their life, their choice. Everyone has the right to enjoy every phase of life. And who are we to judge these amazing women? Do we forget the excellent work they have done and the contributions they have made to the film industry and the business world?"
Referring to Katrina and Kriti, Mrunal added that both actresses run businesses not only in India but also in places like the UK. She believes people should not comment on others' personal matters. Addressing the critics on social media, she remarked, "People are crazy; what else is there to say?"
Noting that women are constantly subjected to scrutiny, Mrunal said, "Women are always judged and criticized. When are they *not* judged? However, it is not just women; men, too, are now falling victim to similar criticism."
Last month, Katrina Kaif faced heavy online trolling after attending the Ambani family's Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Many on social media mocked her and ridiculed her physique, focusing on the weight gain following the birth of her son, Vihan.
Katrina recently addressed this issue at an event for her brand in London. She stated that she does not want to let the negative narratives circulating on social media affect her to the point of mental paralysis.
Meanwhile, Kriti faced criticism over her choice of attire in an advertisement for a jewelry brand marking the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Following the controversy, the advertisement was withdrawn. Kriti later clarified her stance in a statement on social media, noting that it was never her intention to hurt anyone's sentiments.
