Youth must come forward to establish teachings of Qur’an and Sunnah: Jamaat Ameer

Bangla Press Desk:  Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has called upon the country’s youth to take the lead in establishing the teachings and values of the Qur’an and Sunnah in all aspects of life.

“Bangladesh is a nation where 90 percent of the population is Muslim, yet we have drifted away from Islamic values,” he said. “If we truly want to receive Allah’s blessings, we must follow the principles of the Qur’an in every sphere of life — personal, familial, social, national, and international.”

Dr. Rahman made these remarks on Monday while addressing a street rally at Mirpur-13 in the capital. The event was organized by the Kafrul North Thana unit under the Dhaka-15 constituency.

Highlighting the moral and social decay in the country, the Jamaat chief said, “Disorder, corruption, and injustice have spread throughout society because we have disobeyed the commands of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him). We find peace in prayer, but lose it as soon as we step outside, since in our daily, social, and state life, we no longer follow the Qur’an and Sunnah.”

He further stressed that true peace, justice, and security can only be established through the implementation of divine laws. “As long as people do not return to the path of the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him), genuine liberation and dignity will remain out of reach,” he said.

Concluding his speech, Dr. Rahman cited the example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), saying, “The Prophet spent most of his 23-year prophetic life in struggle. He demonstrated that establishing Allah’s laws requires continuous effort. In the coming days, our ultimate goal will be to establish governance based on the Qur’an and Sunnah.”
