Zubaida Rahman and Daughter Zaima Honor Father's Memory

Bangla Press Desk:   Dr Zubaida Rahman and her daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman paid floral tributes at the grave of former communications and agriculture minister and former Bangladesh Navy chief Rear Admiral (retd) Mahbub Ali Khan on Thursday, marking the 42nd anniversary of his death.

They visited the late statesman's grave at Banani Military Cemetery in the capital at noon and offered flowers in his memory.

After the tribute, family members arranged a special prayer seeking eternal peace for the departed soul. Relatives and well-wishers also joined the prayer.

Mahbub Ali Khan served as chief of the Bangladesh Navy before taking charge as minister for communications and later agriculture.

His family organises religious and social programmes every year to commemorate his death anniversary.
