Staff Reporter: Bangladeshi doctor Tawfiqul Alam Bhuiyan Dhillon died of corona in New York, USA. He died at a local hospital on Sunday (December 13th) evening. He was the Vice Chairperson of the Department of Pathology at North Shore University Hospital, Long Island, New York. He was only 61 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife and children.
Former President of Bangladesh Medical Association of North America (BMNA) Dr. Tawfiqul Alam Bhuiyan Dhillon had been suffering from corona for the last 10/22 days and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. His wife Dr. Naima Bhuiyan is a dentist. When the news of his death spread through social media, a shadow of mourning descended on the expatriates.
