Staff Reporter : In the United States, the administration of US President Joe Biden will gifted beer or soft drink for vaccinating against the coronavirus. It has been announced that everyone aged 21 and over will get the beer if they get vaccinated before the next Independence Day on July 4.
Biden has set a goal of vaccinating at least one dose of coronavirus in 70 percent of adults by July 4 next month. To encourage people to get vaccinated, beer company Enhizer Bush and the White House are proposing “beer in exchange for vaccines.”
As an incentive to get vaccinated, Americans are being given financial gifts in some places, sports tickets and free childcare in other places. The administration is also giving paid leave to some office workers.
Earlier, states like Ohio have had success in adopting different strategies to vaccinate people.
Among those who have been vaccinated, the ‘million dollar lottery’ has seen an increase in vaccination rates.
Meanwhile, US Vice President Kamala Harris has embarked on a national vaccination tour to increase the popularity of vaccines and encourage those who have not yet been vaccinated.
The Biden administration’s move is aimed at ensuring that no new strains of the virus return to the country after the first wave of corona virus deaths.
