25th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2026 begins 28 Jan

Global textile manufacturers, suppliers and buyers will converge in Dhaka as the 25th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show (DIFS) 2026 – Winter Edition is set to take place from 28 to 31 January at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), said a press release.

Jointly organised by CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX, the Sub-Council of Textile Industry under the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, the event marks a significant milestone as Bangladesh’s longest-running B2B yarn and fabric sourcing platform celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Recognised as a key sourcing engine for Bangladesh’s US$47+ billion textile and apparel sector, DIFS 2026 will feature a comprehensive display of yarn, fabrics, denim, accessories, trims, textile technology and innovations. The show is expected to attract professional buyers from across the country’s textile and garment industry.

According to the press release, Bangladesh has emerged as one of the world’s leading apparel exporters, driving sustained demand for high-quality raw materials and textile inputs. Over its previous 24 editions, DIFS has played a strategic role in connecting global suppliers with Bangladesh’s manufacturing ecosystem, contributing to competitiveness, diversification and capacity expansion.

The upcoming edition aims to further strengthen this role by bringing together leading manufacturers and supplier groups from major textile-producing countries, positioning the event as a vital platform for sourcing, partnership development and supply-chain resilience.

CEMS-Global USA, a multinational exhibition organiser and strategic consultancy headquartered in New York, has been organising international textile exhibitions for more than two decades across Asia, Africa and Latin America. CCPIT-TEX, meanwhile, plays a crucial role in promoting international cooperation and trade within China’s textile and apparel export sector.

Organisers said the strategic collaboration between CEMS-Global USA and CCPIT-TEX reflects growing textile trade cooperation between Bangladesh and China, particularly in raw materials, textile inputs and technology. The nine-year partnership has enhanced international participation and commercial outcomes, benefiting both Bangladesh’s apparel export industry and global supplier markets.

DIFS 2026 (Winter Edition) is part of CEMS-Global’s Textile Series of Exhibitions, a global platform held across key textile hubs including Bangladesh, Brazil, Morocco, Thailand and Sri Lanka, aimed at strengthening manufacturing competitiveness and stimulating international trade and investment.

The exhibitions will be open to business visitors upon registration every day from 10am to 7pm. Industry professionals from Bangladesh’s textile and garment sector can register online at www.cems-yarnandfabric.com. Visitors may also browse exhibitors, explore products and pre-schedule meetings with suppliers through www.textileseries360.com.
