Arsenal won against Leeds despite falling behind.
Bangla Press Desk: English Premier League action resumed following the international break, with defending side Arsenal facing the league's unbeaten Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium.
After a goalless first half, the match intensified in the second half with end-to-end action, ultimately resulting in a hard-fought victory for Arsenal thanks to goals from Calafiori and Guimarães.
Although Arsenal dominated possession from the start, the Gunners suffered an early setback. In the 55th minute, James Justin put the visiting Leeds United ahead with a brilliant goal, assisted by Gabriel Gudmundsson.
However, Mikel Arteta's men did not let Leeds' joy last long. Just seven minutes later, in the 62nd minute, defender Riccardo Calafiori leveled the score for the Gunners with a superb goal set up by Declan Rice.
After equalizing, Arsenal ramped up their attacking pressure. In the 70th minute, substitute Bruno Guimarães scored a spectacular goal to put Arsenal ahead 2-1.
Arsenal's goal, which breached Leeds' resolute defense, completely shifted the momentum of the match. With no further drama in the closing stages, the Gunners secured a 2-1 victory over Leeds, narrowing the gap with City in the points table.
