Bangladesh announce 27-member preliminary squad for Nepal and India match
Bangla Press Desk: The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has announced a 27-member preliminary squad on Wednesday for the upcoming AFC Asian Cup 2027 Qualifiers against India and a FIFA Tier 1 International Friendly football match against Nepal.
Bangladesh will face Nepal on 13 November and India on 18 November, both matches kicking off at 8:00 PM at the National Stadium in Dhaka.
The squad features a balanced mix of home-based and overseas players. Key inclusions are Hamza Choudhury (Leicester City FC) and Shamit Shome (Cavalry FC), who add valuable international experience to the midfield. Regulars such as Jamal Bhuyan, Topu Barman, and Rakib Hossain are also part of the lineup.
The team aims to build strong chemistry under the national coaching staff, focusing on defensive stability and creative attacking play as they prepare to face Nepal and India.
