Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh Ansar and VDP emerged champions in both the men’s and women’s categories of the Mercantile Bank 8th National Kho Kho Competition.
They proved their dominance by defeating Chittagong district by 8 points in the men’s category and Nilphamari district by 1 point in the women’s category in a highly competitive match.
The National Kho Kho Competition 2025 started at Paltan Maidan, Dhaka, on Friday and a total of 24 district teams, including Bangladesh Ansar, participated in this three-day-long competition.
On Saturday, Bangladesh Ansar defeated Gazipur district team in the first semifinal of the women’s competition and sealed their position in the final. In the second semifinal, Nilphamari district team defeated Jashore district team to reach the final.
