Bangladesh U-17 girls start Dubai campaign with a 2-0 win over Syria

Bangla Press Desk: The Bangladesh U-17 women’s team made a winning start to their preparation campaign in Dubai, beating Syria 2-0 in their first warm-up match on Tuesday night.
Under the guidance of head coach Saiful Bari Titu, the young girls in red and green looked composed and confident from the very beginning. Bangladesh scored once in each half to secure a comfortable victory over the Syrians.
The team will play their second warm-up match against hosts United Arab Emirates on Thursday before heading to Jordan for the AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers, scheduled from October 13 to 17.
Earlier, the team departed for Dubai on Sunday. However, three members of the coaching staff — assistant coach Joya Chakma, goalkeeping coach Iman, and team manager Mirona — could not travel due to visa complications. The team is playing the preparatory matches without them. This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
