Bangladeshi killed in Los Angeles road crash

Staff Reporter: An expatriate Bangladeshi has died in a tragic road accident in Los Angeles, California, USA. Mostafiz Bhuiyan, 54, was seriously injured when he was hit by a car while crossing the road on his way home from the Vermont Shale Gas Station at around 10:30 pm local time on Friday. He was rushed to the local Cedar Sainai Hospital. He died there at around 4.30 am on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Mostafiz Bhuiyan, younger brother of Mizan Bhuiyan, a businessman from Los Angeles. Their home country is in Noakhali district of Bangladesh. He came to the United States with his family as an immigrant in 2010 and has been working at his brother Mizan's Vermont shale gas station. Mostafiz's left wife and one college student daughter. 'Muslim Ummah of North America' West Zone President Ashraf Hossain Akbar and Secretary Abdul Mannan have expressed deep grief over the sudden death of Mostafiz Bhuiyan. The leaders expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the forgiveness of the departed soul.
