Bangladeshi student dies in road accident in Australia
BanglaPress Desk: A Bangladeshi student named Tasnim Oishi has died in a road accident in Australia. She was studying at Edith Cowan University in the country. The accident occurred at 7:45 AM local time on Thursday (October 8) in the Indian Ocean Drive area of Perth.
The Bangladesh High Commission in Canberra, Australia, shared this information in a post on its official Facebook page on Friday (October 9).
The High Commission expressed deep shock at the sudden and untimely death of the Bangladeshi student and conveyed its deepest and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
According to a report by the Australian media outlet Seven News, Oishi was seated in the front of a speeding grey BMW sedan at the time of the accident. The car suddenly lost control and crashed into a tree by the roadside. She died at the scene, while three other passengers in the vehicle fortunately survived.
