BCB unveils Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup

Bangla Press Desk:   The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Saturday announced the launch of the Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup 2026, a tournament that brings together the best players of this format in the country and promises high-intensity cricket.

Three teams will feature in this exciting competition with prize money and fees worth Tk2.5 crore. The teams are Dhumketu XI which will be led by Bangladesh T20 captain Litton Kumer Das, Durbar XI, captained by Najmul Hossain Shanto and Duronto XI which has Akbar Ali as skipper.

The Odommo Bangladesh T20 Cup will have a new Impact Player concept, adding a tactical edge to the game experience.

All matches will be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

There will be three matchdays – scheduled for 5, 6 and 7 February - prior to the final, slated for 9 February.

To enhance the match-day atmosphere, each evening will feature cultural programmes starting at 4pm, followed by the cricket action at 6pm.
