Foodland Halal Supermarket opens in Boston on Saturday

Staff Reporter: The much-anticipated international standard halal supermarket for expatriate Bangladeshis is opening in Lowell, a nearest suburb city of Boston, Massachusetts. Lowell City Mayor John Leahy will officially inaugurate the name of 'Food land' at 9 am on Saturday (April 10th). Several local Bangladeshi businessmen jointly planned to launch this international standard halal supermarket. Local businessman said that long-term expiry of the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Boston and surrounding cities will be fulfilled on Saturday. Thousands of Muslims including Bangladeshis in Massachusetts, have no halal supermarket for them. It is known that everything can be found at the Food land supermarket. BP/SM
