Former Cricketer Hannan Sarkar Endorses 300+ Target in Bogura

Bangla Press Desk:  North zone’s head coach Hannan Sarkar believed a 300-plus total is well within reach at Shaheed Chandu Stadium on Saturday, describing the surface as one of the best in the country ahead of the Bangladesh Cricket League (BCL) One-Day Version.

Speaking in Bogura, Hannan praised the pitch conditions ahead of the upcoming fixture.“It’s a good wicket,” the former cricketer said. “There are still two days, and it’s being prepared properly. It was watered today, and there’s more time tomorrow. Hopefully, it will be a very good wicket.”

Asked whether fans could witness a 300-plus score, the former opener did not hesitate.

“Very much possible,” Hannan replied. “It depends on how the players perform, but I think it’s achievable.”

He also highlighted the quick outfield, which could further favour the batters.

“It’s a very good wicket, and the outfield seems fast. It’s an excellent environment for both bowlers and batters.”
