Government sets up panel to protect economy during global turmoil
Bangla Press Desk: The government has formed a cabinet committee to formulate a crisis management plan aimed at maintaining the country’s economic stability amid the global war situation.
A notification was issued in this regard by the Cabinet Division on Monday, with the finance minister as the chair of the committee.The members of the committee include the local government, rural development and cooperatives minister, the home minister, the power, energy and mineral resources minister, the commerce minister, the expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment minister, and the food minister.
This committee will analyse war situations in different parts of the world, assess their potential impact on Bangladesh, and formulate a crisis management plan to maintain the country’s economic stability.Source: daily Sun
