Bangla Press Desk: Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury arrived in Dhaka on Monday morning to join the Bangladesh national team ahead of their upcoming AFC Asian Cup Qualifier matches against Hong Kong, China.
Journalists gathered at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from early morning to welcome him. Around 11:30 am, Hamza came out through the VIP gate, waved to the media, and then left for the team hotel under police escort.
Speaking after his arrival, Hamza said, “Assalamualaikum, reached safely. Inshallah, it will be a successful camp. We will be playing with Hong Kong on 9 October in the National Stadium. Inshallah, we will get the support from everyone.”
Team manager Amer Khan confirmed that Hamza will train with the team in the afternoon.
