JCI Dhaka heritage unveils newly elected 2026 committee
Bangla Press Desk: The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka Heritage chapter officially announced its newly elected executive committee for 2026 at its Annual General Assembly, held in Dhaka.
The event marked the beginning of a new chapter for the organization as a structured, results-driven leadership team came together to continue advancing youth leadership and community impact initiatives.
JCI is a global organization dedicated to developing young leaders aged 18 to 40 by offering opportunities in leadership development, community service, and sustainable social impact. With its new executive committee in place, JCI Dhaka Heritage is set to further strengthen its mission of empowering youth and creating meaningful change.
For 2026, Gazi Sani Is has been elected as the Local President, bringing a strategic and forward-looking leadership approach to the chapter. Supporting him in executive leadership is Zunaid Hossain, who will serve as Executive Vice President.
The leadership team is further strengthened by Rifat Mahmud as Vice President and Naimul Islam as Local Vice President.
The committee also includes Dr. Farahnaaz Feroz as the Immediate Past Local President, ensuring continuity and strategic guidance for the new team. Md. Farhan Ahmed Mozumdar has been appointed Secretary General, while Aahely Dilshan will serve as Local Treasurer.
Tasmin Haque Tulin has taken on the role of General Legal Counsel, contributing legal oversight and governance support.
Other key appointments include Ahsan Kabir Rubel and Tahmida Shammi as Local Directors, Md. Shariful Islam as Local Committee Chair, Benjir Abrar as Local JIB Chair, and Md. Bakibillah Hasan Sakib as Local Training Commissioner.
According to the Immediate Past Local President, members of the 2026 executive committee were selected based on their consistent participation, leadership discipline, and proven ability to contribute to the organisation’s objectives over the past year.
In his address, the Local President highlighted the chapter’s key priorities for 2026, which include strengthening international collaborations, expanding public awareness initiatives, enhancing professional and leadership skill development, and fostering meaningful networks to create sustainable opportunities for youth.
The event was graced by the presence of several distinguished leaders of JCI Dhaka Heritage and JCI Bangladesh, including past local presidents Md. Mostafizur Rahman Khan (Rimaz), Fazle Munim Sayket, and Rasel Ahmed. The program was further honored by the attendance of Past National President 2024, Imran Kadir, and National President 2026, Arefin Rafi Ahmed, along with members of the National Governing Body and senior JCI leaders.
With a renewed leadership team, strong institutional continuity, and a clear strategic direction, JCI Dhaka Heritage looks forward to making 2026 a year of effective leadership, sustainable growth, and lasting community impact.
