Meherpur’s Nafeez Earns Chance to Watch Bangladesh Play Abroad

Bangla Press Desk:  Meherpur’s Shahriar Nafeez has won the opportunity to watch a Bangladesh national football team match live at a stadium abroad through Nagad’s special football campaign, “Quiz-e Recharge-e Khela Hobe Nagad-e”.

The award was presented to Nafeez, a student from Gangni, along with nine other winners of Nagad’s other campaigns at an event held at a five-star hotel in Dhaka.Bangladesh national football team captain Jamal Bhuyan attended the event and handed the grand prize to Nafeez. He will watch the national team’s upcoming away match live at the stadium alongside Bhuyan.

Nagad Administrator Md Motasem Billah, Senior Associate Administrator Syed Himyanuddin Ahmed, Associate Administrator Anwar Ullah, Chief Commercial Officer Shahin Sarwar Bhuiyan, Chief Financial Officer Afzal Ahmed and Head of Marketing HUM Mehedi Sajjad, among others, attended the event.

Meanwhile, Shahin Alam of Muktagachha, Mymensingh, received a PlayStation 5 as a winner of the recharge campaign. Two other winners had earlier received PS5 consoles under the campaign.Other winners of the quiz campaign received Nagad Gift Boxes.

Expressing his excitement, Nafeez said watching his favourite national team play live abroad was “like a dream come true” and thanked Nagad for creating the opportunity.

Nagad Administrator Md Motasem Billah said football was “deeply rooted” in the hearts of Bangladeshis and the campaign aimed to add to the excitement of the World Cup season while encouraging digital transactions.

The campaign combined quizzes and mobile recharge and received a strong response from users across the country, Nagad said.
