Bangla Press Desk: BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has expressed deep concern over the killing incident of a businessman in the Mitford area in the capital and demanded exemplary punishment of the criminals.
In a written statement, he said on 9 July, a young businessman named Mohammad Sohag was brutally hacked and beaten to death in public at the main gate of Mitford Hospital in the capital.
The BNP leader expressed deep concern and strong condemnation, and protest against this barbaric murder committed by miscreants.
“This heinous incident is not just a loss of life - it is an expression of deep despair in the protection of national security, civil rights and law and order,” he said.
