Orphan Love Foundation distributes Ramadan food packs in Narsingdi
Bangla Press Desk: In a gesture of compassion and solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan, the people of Türkiye extended food assistance to orphan students in Raipura upazila of Narsingdi through the Orphan Love Foundation (OLF).
A total of 200 orphan students received essential food items at a distribution programme held on Tuesday at the grounds of Serajnagar Ummulqura Madrasah.The Ramadan food packages contained rice, cooking oil, lentils, sugar, chickpeas, flour, dates and biscuits, aimed at ensuring nutritious meals for the students throughout the fasting month.
Abdulkadir Bayram, Deputy Country Coordinator of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA), attended the event as chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he said the initiative reflected the heartfelt friendship and goodwill of the Turkish people towards the people of Bangladesh.
The programme was implemented by the Orphan Love Foundation. On behalf of the beneficiary students, Aminul Ihsaan Islam, Head of Orphan Sponsorship at OLF, expressed sincere gratitude to TİKA for its support. As a token of appreciation, he presented locally grown vegetables from Narsingdi to the Turkish representative.
