Bangla Press Desk: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman held a meeting with leading business figures on Saturday to discuss the country’s investment climate and the challenges facing the industrial sector.
The meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tejgaon on Saturday afternoon, according to the media cell of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).Earlier, officials from the Prime Minister’s Office had indicated that the meeting would also mark the formal launch of the Private Sector Advisory Council, a new platform aimed at strengthening structured dialogue between policymakers and business leaders.The initiative is expected to facilitate regular discussions on economic policies, investment opportunities, and industrial development, with the goal of improving the overall business environment in Bangladesh.
