Prime Minister Highlights Importance of Semiconductor Sector During UIU Stall Visit
Bangla Press Desk: Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has visited the exhibition stall of United International University (UIU) at the BEAR (Biotechnology, Electronics, AI and Robotics) Summit and National Semiconductor Symposium 2026, held at the Novo Theatre in Dhaka.
During his visit, the prime minister explored several of UIU's flagship innovations, including the UIU Mars Rover, UIU Rescue Rover, and UIU Mariner, as well as many groundbreaking research and commercialisation initiatives, according to a press release.
The exhibition also showcased innovative projects such as SmartEndo, Bolte Chai, Smart Autism Barta, BScan, and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) research, demonstrating UIU's growing contributions to research, innovation, technology commercialisation, and societal development.
The prime minister expressed keen interest in the university's research and innovation initiatives.
His visit and appreciation served as a significant recognition of UIU's unwavering commitment to transforming research into impactful technologies and commercially viable solutions that address real-world challenges.
