Rocky credits rare four-month training camp for historic campaign

Bangla Press Desk:  Bangladesh’s breakthrough performance in the FIH U21 Hockey World Cup has drawn praise from within the squad, with star player Rakibul Hasan Rocky attributing the team’s success to an unusually long and intensive preparation phase.

Bangladesh finished their maiden appearance in the global event on a historic high, defeating Austria 5–4 at the Madurai International Hockey Stadium on Monday to secure the Challengers Trophy. The victory capped a spirited campaign in which the young side impressed with discipline, fitness and attacking flair.
