Sri Lanka's commanding victory in the match where Mendis set a record.

Bangla Press Desk: The Sri Lankan cricket team secured a commanding victory in a match marked by a record-breaking performance from Kusal Mendis. The visitors won the final game of the three-match T20 series against Pakistan at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
However, Pakistan had already clinched the series by winning the first two matches. In the opening game, Sri Lanka lost by four wickets despite scoring 182 runs.
In the second match, Pakistan posted a record total of 215 runs. Chasing the target, Sri Lanka could only manage 133 runs for the loss of seven wickets; the hosts won by 82 runs, thereby sealing the series.
Batting first today (Tuesday), Pakistan scored 168 runs for the loss of eight wickets. In reply, Sri Lanka secured a dominant eight-wicket victory with 17 balls to spare, driven by a batting onslaught from Kusal Mendis. He played an impeccable innings of 87 runs off 48 balls, featuring nine fours and four sixes.
With this innings, he became the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka in the T20 format. Pathum Nissanka previously held the top spot with 2,784 runs, but Kusal Mendis surpassed him today, reaching a total of 2,791 runs.
Also contributing to Sri Lanka's victory today, Kamindu Mendis remained unbeaten on 40 off 27 balls, while Sineth Jayawardene scored 28 off 26 balls.
