New York Correspondent: a Pakistani-origin Muslim-American officer from the police Department of new York (NYPD) has taken on the responsibilities of the local district as its commander, the first time such an appointment was in force history. Chief police patrol Fausto Pichardo confirmed the appointment of captain Adil Rana as the head area. “Welcome aboard to the captain Adil Rana-first to police the Pakistani-American section chief,” Pichardo wrote on Twitter.
