World Cup hero Vojinia shows new surprise

Bangla Press Desk: Cape Verde's surprise goalkeeper Vozinha made his debut for Chilean club Colo-Colo on Wednesday. He kept a clean sheet as Colo-Colo beat Union Espanyol 3-0 in the Copa Chile at the National Stadium in Santiago.
The 40-year-old goalkeeper was given a warm welcome by the home fans on the pitch. He received a standing ovation after helping Colo-Colo to an easy victory.
A few weeks ago, Vozinha became a household name at the 2026 World Cup in North America.
Cape Verde reached the knockout stages of their first ever World Cup. Vozinha played a major role in this success. His performances helped Cape Verde draw against World Cup champions Spain and two-time world champions Uruguay. They narrowly lost to Argentina in the last 16.
His brilliant performance against Spain made him a star on social media. His Instagram followers grew from around 50,000 to over 29 million.
Vojinia previously played for Portuguese second division club Chaves. He has also played for clubs in Angola, Cyprus, Moldova and Slovakia.
