Zonta Club of Dhaka IV Holds Third General Meeting

Bangla Press Desk:  The Zonta Club of Dhaka IV convened its third general meeting on Saturday, demonstrating how these monthly gatherings serve as a vital anchor for reviving the club's shared commitment to service and advocacy. 

The meeting put a spotlight on the club's growing local footprint, led by President Sania Mahtab, who detailed impactful new ventures including the Sharing Dignity Project launched in collaboration with the Aalo Initiative, according to a press release. Grounding these local actions in global frameworks, Past Area Director Munira Naim provided a comprehensive breakdown of Zonta International’s SHARE leadership motto, mapping out how its core principles of sustainability, human rights, accountability, respect, and empowerment will directly guide the club's upcoming projects. 

Beyond strategic planning, the event highlighted the deep fellowship that powers the organisation's mission.

Past District Governor Naheed Moyeen spoke movingly on how these monthly forums act as an essential connective bridge, creating a warm and vibrant space that members eagerly look forward to attending each month. 

The meeting concluded on a high note of gratitude as the club honoured Noorjehan Khan with the Outstanding Service Award, recognising her unwavering commitment and invaluable support in providing essential printing materials and logistics to the club.
