Bangla Press Desk: At least 10 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups in Faridpur’s Bhanga upazila on Eid day, police and local sources said.
The incident took place Saturday morning in Gopinathpur village under Hamirdi union, stemming from a long-standing dispute over local dominance.According to witnesses, supporters of the two groups engaged in a series of chases and counter-chases from around 9am to 11am. During the clash, they used locally made weapons.
Several houses were vandalised and looted during the violence.

Tension escalated again after Eid prayers on Saturday, triggering the fresh round of violence.
