17 supernumerary Addl-DIGs transferred

Bangla Press Desk:   The home ministry on Wednesday transferred 17 police officers having the rank of supernumerary additional deputy inspectors general (Addl-DIGs) to new stations.

“The transfer order will take immediate effect,” said a circular issued on Wednesday by the home affairs ministry, signed by deputy secretary Tousif Ahmed.

Supernumerary Addl-DIG of Industrial Police Mohammad Anwar Hossain has been transferred to Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) as Addl-DIG, while supernumerary Addl-DIG of Special Branch (SB) Kamrul Hasan Mahmood has been posted to SB as Addl-DIG.

Supernumerary Addl-DIG of Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Tofael Ahmed has been posted to RpMP as additional commissioner (Addl-DIG), supernumerary Addl-DIG of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Sifuan Ahmed to DMP as joint commissioner (Addl-DIG), supernumerary Addl-DIG of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Muhammad Basir Uddin to CID as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Hussain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan to CMP as additional commissioner (Addl-DIG), supernumerary Addl-DIG of Police Headquarters (PHQ) Mahabubul Karim to PHQ as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) Al Mamun to RMP as additional commissioner (Addl-DIG), supernumerary Addl-DIG of Industrial Police Md Asaduzzaman to PHQ as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of SB Mohammad Anisur Rahman to SB as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of Range DIG office, Ranpur Dr AKM Akteruzzaman Basunia to Police Staff College (PSC) as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of PHQ Md Jahangir Alam to PHQ as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of SB Mohammad Hayatun Nabi to CID as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of PHQ Md Abdullah Al Mamun to PBI as Addl-DIG, supernumerary Addl-DIG of PSC Afroza Pervin to PSC as Addl-DIG and supernumerary Addl-DIG of Railway Police Md Tofayel Ahmed Miah to Railway Police as Addl-DIG.
