Bangla Press Desk: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has sent a letter requesting a red alert against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and her son Sajib Wazed Joy in connection with a plot forgery case.
The letter was issued on Thursday by the investigation officers of the case and forwarded to the Police Headquarters.
According to the letter, Sheikh Hasina and her son have fled abroad. It states that, in the interest of justice, the court has issued arrest warrants to identify their whereabouts, bring them back to the country, and face legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, hearings continued on Thursday in three separate cases filed against Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana, and Rehana’s daughters Tulip Siddiq and Azmyna Siddiq Ruponti, along with other accused, over allegations of forgery in Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) plot allocations.
