Bangla Press Desk: A Dhaka court on Wednesday ordered six persons, including former law minister Anisul Huq, former food minister Kamrul Islam, and former adviser to ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Salman F Rahman, to be shown as arrested in different cases tied with the July Uprising.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Ariful Islam passed the order after police produced the accused before the court, seeking their detention.
Others who have been arrested are-- former state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak, former secretary Jahangir Alam, and former officer-in-charge of Jatrabari Police Station Abul Hasan.
Additional Public Prosecutor of Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Shamsuddoha Sumon confirmed the information.
