Bangalee group calls hartal in Bandarban on 13 Oct

Bangla Press Desk: Chattogram Nagorik Parishad, a group representing Bangalee communities in the hill tracts, has announced a dawn-to-dusk hartal in Bandarban next Monday, protesting the decades of discrimination against Bangalees in the region.

The group’s Chairman Kazi Md Mazibur Rahman announced the movement at a press conference held at a residential hotel in the district on Thursday morning.
