The aid items include dry food, baby food, blankets, winter clothes, tents, drinking water, and medicines, read a press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.
A powerful earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan on Monday, killing more than 1,400 people, seriously injuring more than 3,000 Afghan citizens, and destroying more than 8,000 homes.
The earthquake has caused humanitarian disaster in the affected areas due to shortages of food, water, and shelter and a lack of emergency medical services.
