Bashundhara Shuvosangho hosts literary gathering in Savar
Bangla Press Desk:   The Savar upazila unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised a lively reading circle and literary-cultural gathering on Sunday morning at the Savar Government College grounds, with enthusiastic participation from members and leaders of the organisation. The programme was conducted under the leadership of unit President Md Habibur Rahman and moderated by General Secretary Md Shafiqul Islam Pintu. Adviser Amar Chand Mondal, Vice Presidents Md Jahangir Alam and Md Shafiqul Islam, Organisational Secretary Zafar Iqbal, Assistant Organisational Secretary Farzana Mitu, IT Secretary Md Liaqat Ali Sarkar, Education and Reading Circle Secretary Kasmeri Akter Ankhi, Women and Children Affairs Secretary Kohinur Akter, Hospitality Secretary Tarin Akter, Sports Secretary Jannatul Ferdous, Planning Secretary Nabila Akter, and member Sharmin Akter Ankhi were among those present. During the reading session, Adviser Amar Chand Mondal, President Habibur Rahman, Vice Presidents Shafiqul Islam and Jahangir Alam, General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Pintu, and other members read a motivational short story by writer Mohammad Lutfor Rahman.
In the subsequent literary discussion, speakers noted that Lutfor Rahman’s works vividly reflect social realities, portraying the struggles, livelihoods, and aspirations of ordinary people. They praised his storytelling style, character development, and powerful social messages. The cultural segment featured songs performed by President Habibur Rahman, Vice President Jahangir Alam, and IT Secretary Liaqat Ali Sarkar, while General Secretary Shafiqul Islam Pintu, Organisational Secretary Zafar Iqbal, Assistant Organisational Secretary Farzana Mitu, and other members captivated the audience with poetry recitations.
