Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Secretary General and Bangladesh Sammilito Peshajibi Parishad Member-Secretary Qader Gani Chowdhury has expressed deep sorrow over the death of Shah Sufi Syed Habibul Bashar Maizbhandari, the eldest son of Gaus-e-Zaman Syed Shafiul Bashar Maizbhandari.
Syed Habibul Bashar, grandson of Golamur Rahman Maizbhandari, the spiritual founder of Maizbhandar Darbar Sharif, breathed his last at 10am Bangladesh time on Sunday while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Thailand. He was 75.
In a condolence message, Qader Gani Chowdhury said Syed Habibul Bashar devoted his life to spreading the teachings of the Maizbhandari Sufi order and serving humanity. He prayed for the acceptance of his good deeds and for Allah to grant him a high place in paradise while giving strength to his bereaved family to endure the loss.
