Bangla Press Desk: With the call that “building a peaceful future world requires men and women to work hand in hand, international women’s rights organisation, Bikoshito Nari Songho, celebrated its 10th anniversary in Paris on Sunday.
The event, titled “We are Women; We Can,” was held at a community hall in La Courneuve, attended by members of the Bangladeshi diaspora from various walks of life.
The discussion was chaired by Toufika Sahed, president of the organisation.
Among others present were Dhaka Association convener Ahsanul Haque Bulu, adviser Sirajul Islam Mia, France-Bangladesh Journalists’ Association coordinator Mohammad Mahbub Hossain, spokesperson Mohammad Arif Ullah, France-Bangladesh Press Club President Ferdous Karim Akhunji, youth leader Milton Sarker, Paris Bangla Press Club President Enayet Sohel, MC Institute principal Prof Badrul Bin Harun, Euro Bangla Press Club president Taijul Islam, along with several journalists and cultural activists.
