BNP leader Ishraque Hossain gets engaged to Nusrat Khan

Bangla Press Desk:   Engineer Ishraque Hossain, Special Assistant to the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Committee on Foreign Affairs and son of late undivided Dhaka Mayor Sadeque Hossain Khoka, has got engaged.

The matter was confirmed on Saturday by Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell.

The engagement ceremony took place on Friday in a family arrangement. Ishraque exchanged rings with Barrister Nusrat Khan, the eldest daughter of Nur Mohammad Khan, former Member of Parliament from Tangail and a member of the cabinet of martyred President Ziaur Rahman.

Speaking to the media, Ismat Hossain, Ishraque’s mother, said the engagement was arranged suddenly with the mutual consent of both families. She also sought prayers from everyone for the newly engaged couple.
