BNP observes National Revolution and Solidarity Day in China
Bangla Press Desk: The Greater China Branch of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Friday organised a discussion on the occasion of historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
The programme was held at a local hotel in Guangzhou, China, in the presence of leaders and activists of the Greater China branch of BNP and fifty Bangladeshi expatriates.
The discussion was moderated by former Chhatra Dal leader and China BNP leader Asif Haque Rupur and chaired by China BNP leader Sakhawat Hossain Kanon.
Also speaking at the discussion were China BNP leader Sheikh Mahbubur Rashid, former student leader and China BNP leader Wali Ullah, former general secretary of RU Chhatra Dal Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Hall branch and China BNP leader SM Al-Amin, Hasmat Ali Mridha, SA Shahin Mallick, Salauddin Rikta, and others.
The speakers at the event highlighted the significance of the historic 7th November National Revolution and Solidarity Day, said that the independence proclaimer and martyred President Ziaur Rahman was very popular with all the people of Bangladesh since the beginning of the war.
They continued, this is evidenced by the patriotic army and people's revolution of 7th November. Ziaur Rahman is the architect of a self-reliant Bangladesh.
The speakers pledged to work together in the upcoming elections to ensure the victory of the ‘Paddy Sheaf’ by nurturing the ideals of Ziaur Rahman.
