BNP will join polls under Tarique’s leadership: Humayun Kabir

Bangla Press Desk:   Humayun Kabir, foreign affairs adviser to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman, on Thursday said that the party would participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections under Tarique’s leadership.

“Tarique Rahman will return to the country very soon and there is no doubt about his return,” Humayun Kabir said while speaking to reporters at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport after wrapping up his nine-day New York tour.

Claiming that the chief adviser has remained sincere about holding the upcoming national elections, he stated that the elections would be held in February.

He further said that through the attack on National Citizen Party (NCP) leaders in New York, the Awami League has once again proven that it is a "terrorist organisation."
