Bangla Press Desk: A pre-election survey conducted by the Bangladesh Public Academy (BPA) in collaboration with the volunteer organisation Besorkari has revealed that Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Vice President (VP) candidate Abidul Islam Khan of the Bangladesh Chhatra Dal is leading with 46% support among likely voters.
The survey included responses from 240 prospective voters ahead of the upcoming DUCSU elections.
According to the results, the top four VP contenders are Abdul Kadir, Abidul Islam Khan, Umama Fatema, and Md Abu Sadiq (Kayem).
Among them, Bagchas (Anti-Discrimination Student Movement) candidate Abdul Kadir received 18% support, Chhatra Dal’s Abidul Islam Khan topped the list with 46%, independent candidate from the Student Unity panel Umama Fatema secured 12%, while United Student Alliance candidate Md Abu Sadiq Kayem managed 9%.
