Brahmanbaria OC withdrawn for FB post on DUCSU polls
Bangla Press Desk:  Brahmanbaria Sadar Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC), Muzaffar Hossain, has been removed from his post for making a post about the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) elections in his personal Facebook account. He was later attached to the police lines. A responsible police source confirmed this information, stating that Azharul Islam has taken over the duties as the new OC of Sadar Police Station. He previously served as the OC of Nasirnagar Police Station. A post was made from the OC’s Facebook account on Tuesday (9 September) about the DUCSU election, which read, “Best wishes to the meritorious. Best wishes to 21, 17, 08.”
Following the incident, he filed a general diary (GD) in which he alleged that his account had been hacked. This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
